Testing Testing
We are excited to announce we will be holding indoor services, starting August 23rd at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am! Here are the details and guidelines for our worship services:

1. Masks are required for entry, singing, and exit. Masks may be removed during the sermon. Masks are available to those who need one.
2. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the building.
3. If you have a child that would like to attend Treehouse, check them in via the KidCheck App before entering the building.
4. Doors will open 15 minutes before the service starts.
5. Upon entry, please maintain social distancing.
6. Make your way to the North Venue and find a seat. There will be paper in the pews to help keep space between individuals or families.
7. Once seated, fill out a connect card. We will use these to contact you if someone in the service is later found to have COVID.
8. When the service ends please exit “wedding style” — dismissing yourselves by row back to front.
9. The Prayer Team will be available for anyone needing prayer following the service in the front of the North Venue.
10. Please make your way out of the building as soon as possible. We will begin sanitizing the North Venue and foyer in preparation for the next service. We encourage you to fellowship outside.
11. Please stay home and stream services online if: you have any symptoms related to COVID-19, you are high risk because of age or underlying medical conditions, or you are uncomfortable with attending in-person for any reason.

Treehouse Guidelines

General

Children’s ministry will only be offered at the 9:30 and 11:00am services. Each service will be approximately 45 minutes.
Preschool and Elementary will be conducted in a children’s church style - no Sunday School at this time.
Infant and toddler nursery will be open
Staff, Volunteers, and Children who have had flu like symptoms or know they have Covid should not attend until 10 days have passed since they first experienced symptoms, they have not had a fever for 24 hrs., and any other symptoms they have experienced have improved.
Staff, Volunteers, and Children who have been exposed to Covid-19 should not attend until 14 symptom free days have passed
No food or drink will be provided in the children’s area..  Water fountains will be closed.
Hand sanitizer available in the check-in area and in every children’s ministry space.
All Treehouse staff and volunteers will be required to wear masks.  When teaching, the teacher will ensure he/she is adequately social-distanced from the children, and may take down his/her mask to teach the lesson.

Temperature checks will be taken for all staff, volunteers, and children at the host counter before entering the children’s area.
Cleaning between services will be conducted with volunteer help:  wipe off door knobs, chairs, tables, and large toys.  Volunteers will collect and set out fresh toys/supplies for the next service.
Small groups will remain together and will be isolated from other small groups.  Attendance will be taken in small groups to help with possible contact tracing.
We will start with promoted age groups.

Nursery

Toddler Nursery will be divided into two rooms.  Two separate entrances will be used.  The same activities will happen in both rooms, but just separate spaces.  Toys too difficult to clean will be removed (i.e. wooden blocks, cardboard puzzles, books).  Smaller toys will be split into tubs identified for the 9:30 and the 11:00 services.  Between services, one set of toys will be collected to be disinfected later, and a fresh tub of toys will be set out.  Large toys will be cleaned with a safe disinfectant spray (i.e.  kitchen set, toy tool bench, etc.).
No snack time.
Any toy put in a child’s mouth will be collected immediately and set aside for later sanitation.
Free play, music, Bible lesson in toddler nursery.  Preferred - 2-4 volunteers (including Bonnie)
Infant nursery available.  Preferred 2 volunteers, or 1 with camera on.

Preschool

Enter and receive a large (personal) Ziploc activity bag and led to a table.  Tables will be utilized in the Preschool room and two other Sunday School rooms.  Each table will have a leader in charge.  The activity bag will contain items for only that child’s use (i.e. coloring utensils, container of Play-Dough, etc.).  Small groups will do table activities and small group leaders will ask some icebreaker/lesson warm-up questions.  
Whole-group instruction with social distancing:  Each small group will stay together and sit in the same area.  Each child will sit on a carpet square already laid out.
Music in the preschool room (led by Percy Dean or Jessica Flowers).  Children will remain social-distanced on their carpet squares.
Preferred - 3 volunteers + Jessica/teacher



Elementary

Children will be separated into small groups where they will remain.  Children will sit either on large area rugs, distanced throughout the classroom, or at tables. The portable divider will be put away to allow for more space.
Children will do worship time at their chair or spot on their area rug.
Mike will teach from the stage, socially distanced from the groups.

Child Check-In

Touchless Express Check-In utilized - remote check-in from parents’ phones. Tags printed once within range.  
One iPad available with a host manning it for families not yet utilizing touchless check-in or for visitors/new families.
Every child will have their temperature checked and their hands sanitized at the host counter before walking back to the children's area.
“Touchless” thermometers will be used.  Anyone with a temperature under 100.4 will be allowed back.  Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be sent home with their families..
No parents will come past the host counter, unless they have a child in early childhood who needs their parent for encouragement
Parents will be given a half-sheet of paper at check-in which they will bring back at pick-up (more details under “Child Check-Out).
1 Host manning iPad; 1 temp checker; 2 other hosts running children and possibly helping with security tags.  Only 2 need to stay through the service; 2 can attend adult service.  All return for child check-out.
Hosts carrying young children will be encouraged to clean hands between groups.

Child Check-Out

The half sheet that parents will pick up during check-in is to be filled out before/during service and brought back for check-out.
On half-sheet:
Family Name (which they preferred to be called out a check-out)
Child Name - circle age group (multiple lines of this)

At check-out, the half-sheet will be given to the host at the counter.  The host will use a walk-talkie to request children (already standard procedure).  Leaders will get the child(ren) ready.
Parents will stand at a mark on the floor in the hallway/foyer near the children’s area that are socially distanced from each other, while they wait for their children.
A runner will be given the half-sheet and collect the children for one family only.
The runner will escort the child(ren) to the exit doors.  The runner will call-out the family name.
The parents will present their security tag to the runner and retrieve their children.  Families will exit the North Venue doors.
